River Guardian

The River Guardian embodies the art of going with the flow of life—guiding you to discover your passion and enter a true state of flow. She teaches you to move with life’s currents, to embrace ease and presence. Yet, when the path becomes too effortless, she gently challenges you—encouraging you to swim against the current, to grow, to strive, and to shape your own destiny.

Like others in this series, the River Guardian is also a protective force, warding off negative energy and holding space for clarity and renewal.

This is my favourite piece in the series. Its colours are both soothing and invigorating, capturing a balance between calm and vitality.

Created in my art lab under the watchful presence of Wairere Falls, where her rivers run like veins through the countryside, this work carries the essence of its environment. The wind moved freely through the open garage doors, sage burned in quiet ritual, crystals were placed with intention, and my fox terriers played nearby—each element contributing to the energy within the piece.

This exclusive original artwork is more than an image—it is a tangible moment in time. Life’s essence runs through the veins of the paint.
