Time coil

This exclusive original artwork depicts a “coil in time.” Spirit flowed strongly through my brush as I created this piece, and I also used my fingers to fully transmute the energy from within my body onto the canvas. The bones of the work—the canvas stretcher—were built by my father and me. I then stretched the skin (the canvas) over those bones and gave the piece life.

The coil in time represents moments of the past, present, and future, all interconnected within a single scene. Set in a desert landscape, the painting includes pyramids, boats, an all-seeing eye, a wise man, a giant dog, and sculpted trees. A striking white and copper temple stands with columns framing a large Ankh at its entrance. A tribal sun containing an eye, linked to Ra, radiates above.

Green lines highlight specific areas intended for deeper study, accompanied by a scope-like element suggesting observation and focus. A fallen Ankh lies facing left, resembling a body, with lines rising from it to represent the spirit ascending. Geometric, graffiti-like patterns reference modern times, while neon green accents introduce energy from the future, looping in and out of the composition and weaving all three timelines together.

The large spiral—the coil in time—serves as a gateway, allowing access to information from the past, present, and future, all connected to this singular moment. Additional details are encoded throughout the work, inviting deeper interpretation. The energy of the story reveals itself most fully when the viewer meditates upon the piece.
